Applying for Membership of the North East Branch of the Retired Police Officers’ Association Scotland
Ordinary Membership shall be open to:
a) police officers who have retired on pension within the meaning of the Police Pensions Act 1976 and police pensions Regulations 1987, as amended or superseded, wherever resident, and police pensioners from Police Forces within the British Commonwealth of Nations who are resident in Scotland.
b) police officers who retired with 10 or more years’ service on a deferred or transferred pension.
Loss of pension rights shall result in membership of the Association being withdrawn without right of appeal.
The cost to join the North East Branch is £12 per year, payable annually by bank standing order. Simply complete the form below and press the Submit button. The Secretary will contact you as soon as possible.
Declaration
As a police officer who has retired on pension, I am eligible for Membership of the Retired Police Officers’ Association Scotland as outlined above. I have not been dismissed or required to resign from the Police Service by reason of misconduct.
